Meet Steffany
Steffany has extensive experience and a deep personal understanding of the private boarding and day school landscape. As a Dana Hall alumna and a parent of a dyslexic New England boarding school student, she is intimately acquainted with the challenges and joys of finding the perfect educational fit. With two children in middle and elementary school, Steffany actively volunteers, gaining first hand insight into the unique learning personalities and profiles of students.
Steffany has spent the last five years visiting over a hundred schools building her expertise and knowledge of school differentiators while building trusted relationships with admissions teams. Using this knowledge, Steffany’s passion is to align a school’s educational environment with the needs of the student to find the right fit.
Her dedication to education extends to volunteering in her local community. Steffany provides pro-bono services to the Waltham Boys and Girls Club, as well as is actively involved in the Weston Boosters and Garden Clubs. She holds a longstanding board position at Land's Sake Farm and has served as Vice President and President of the Board of the Red Barn Nursery School.
Steffany's commitment to education is reflected in her memberships in the International Educational Consulting Association (IECA), the International Dyslexia Association, the Small Boarding School Association, Learning Disability Association of America, and the Enrollment Management Association. As a Professional Member of IECA, she adheres to strict ethical standards, has co-chaired the New England Regional Group, fostering collaboration and learning among colleagues and now serves on the Schools Conversations Committee, planning monthly Zoom meetings with schools and programs.
Steffany holds a BA from the University of Colorado and an MBA from Arizona State University. With a background in Supply Chain Management, she spent a decade at Cisco Systems, Inc., focusing on global manufacturing operations.
A dynamic individual, Steffany finds balance in her active lifestyle. Weekends are filled with running, practicing yoga, cooking, and reading, often squeezed between her children's sports and extracurricular activities. In the winter, the family's passion for skiing is evident, participating in the race program at Okemo Mountain Resort.
